The Dream of Flight

The accepted history of flight is that in 1783 the first hot air balloon was lifted, and that it wasn't until 1903 when powered flight became a reality. What if I told you that reality of flight has lived for many years? In 1898 a wooden object dated  back to about 200 BCE,  found in a tomb at Saqquara, Egypt, was labeled as a model of a bird, and was stored away in the basement of the Cairo museum. Keep in mind that airplanes had not yet been invented by 1898. In 1997 researchers decided to built scaled up models of these artifacts. Adding a small engine and propeller, the exact specifications were scaled up and made of materials used for flight of small radio controlled craft. The new version of this ancient aircraft flew remarkably well, and performed loops, rolls and turns, as well as take off and landing. Did ancient civilizations really achieve flight in the past or did we have visitors from another planet drop off clues?  

Forever Young

Bring the happiness with you to adulthood. Kids are like a blank book. Growing up they take action, and responsibility comes along with actions. Actions which reflect their life. Defining life is not easy, because its a process, not a pure substance... As living humans we respond to change in the environment and within ourselves. Evidence suggests that life on Earth has existed for just about 3.7 billion years, everything has changed since then... Kids own something that should stay, innocence, the key to peace! How about we make the change we want to adapt to? Peace & innocence should live forever...

Make a Difference

The first to doubt you, are your closest ones. Sad but true. There is a very few in this world who actually use what we are granted, the brains..Why when you have an idea, an insight, everyone seems to be skeptical, as if you were crazy!! Does that happen to you at times? Do you hate the negativity? I've learned how to strategize, become a better person, with effort, and dedication..Don't let anyone bring your hopes down, because when you gain success in whatever it might be, your closest ones, would be by far your biggest believers.. Like the change? Continue to be positive at all times, and disregard the NO's and more NO's! Take my word.. Its always good to have an answer to every question that you're expected to know. Documenting takes time, just read!

Wanting the Forbidden

Adam and Eve ate the forbidden apple, encouraged by who? The serpent. When kids ask for candy, soda any type of junk, parents forbid them from such "harmful" food... I think everyone should have a chance to try the goods. Even though what parents want is the best for their kids, holding things back is not the best option.. How do we end up with teen parents? In a world that provides sex education at an early stage of life? Those who seek will find. As a mother I believe that when things are offered, even if in moderation it's a great choice. You would leave curiosity out of the picture. So the next time your son/daughter asks for a box of nerds, instead of denying the candy, offer it to them, explain to your child how everything in excess can be bad. This will create awareness! As for parents with teens, don't just give up by giving your child all the liberty they ask for, because once granted they really would not know what to do with it. Life is about maintaining balance! It's all part of a plan, don't let someone else teach your child what you want them to know...

Donde esta el futuro? Claro, en los jóvenes... En Republica Dominicana el gobierno aparenta olvidarse del futuro! Si, aparentan... El gobierno se niega a dar cumplimiento a lo que por ley es su deber, dar el 4% del PIB (producto interno bruto) a la educacion Dominicana... En una encuesta hecha por los organizadores de Voces Amarillas en el Nordeste denunciaron que el 44% de los Dominicanos no ha completado el octavo curso y que el 13% solo llega a tercero de la primaria. Quiere decir que mas de un 50% del pais no tiene una oportunidad a un mejor futuro... Y que hace el gobierno? NADA, al contrario mejor le quitan lo que por Ley les pertenece!!... Me aseguro que el mismo gobierno es el primero al apuntar un joven que tome un mal camino... Mi pregunta es, cual otro le dejan?

Economy is a dream

People keep complaining about a bad economy.. The problem is us! We can't try to get jobs anymore, we should create them.. It all starts with imagination, what we all had as a child... A dream that we have to wake up and make reality.. What is your dream? Are you living it? There goes the answer! Whatever it is you want to be only takes will, and trust me you can move mountains with that! Money never sleeps, but that's in Wall St. 'till you make it there, sleep, and dream! Who is who?

Well we really don't know.. The answer to this question remains unsolved. I came to this conclusion after 24 years of meeting new people and nourishing relationships. The end is you come to find out no matter how long it has been, you will continue to discover new things of each individual. I do think everyone deserves time, just not to waste. Who are you?
